The American rapper and singer Sean “Diddy” Combs is listing his Alpine, N.J., Colonial-style home for sale. The house that is spread in a large area of 17,000 square feet was bought by him at $5 million in 2010. The house consists of a vast 26 rooms and the mansion has three acres and a swimming pool, a putting green and a detached guesthouse.

But According to curbed.com

Hip hop performer and impresario Sean "Diddy" Combs might not be able to decide on a name—he's been through three over the course of his career—but he's managed to stay content in this 17,000-square-foot Alpine, N.J. mansion for seven years, after purchasing the pad in 2004 for around $10M. Now, he's looking to move on, and has the house discreetly listed for $13.5M. The 26-room spread features a putting green, squash court, gym, movie theater, and a pool with waterfall, apparently not enough to keep Diddy, and his $475M fortune, from seeking even more entertaining digs elsewhere.

Formerly Known as Puff Daddy. Diddy's business ventures, along with his career as a rapper, made him the richest rapper on the planet, built fortune chiefly through clothing line Sean John, record label Bad Boy and Ciroc Vodka. Acting gigs, television shows and guest appearances add to coffers. he told Forbes in 1999: "I'm gonna be bigger than David Geffen." Not there yet.

Just recently, Sean Diddy Combs placed his 17,000 sq ft mansion in elite Alpine, New Jersey up for sale. Mr. Combs has listed the property for a cool $13.5 million, after he purchased it reported for $10 million in 2004. And beside he bought Kim Porter a $5 million dollar estate last year in California. Reports are saying that"Diddy" and Kim Porter do not use the residence as much and reports are saying he is spending a great deal of time Los Angeles, CA with Kim.

Let me tell you about the house it has a putting green, a squash court (huh? - just kidding, some of ya'll are saying I'm not), movie theater, three master bedroom suites, five additional bedrooms, racquetball court ,basketball court wine cellar, private spa and a 700 gallon aquarium and a swimming pool with a waterfall.

Others that have lived in Alpine New Jersey are: Damon Dash, Stevie Wonder, Gary Sheffield,The Jonas Brothers, Lil Kim, Chris Rock, and Eddie Murphy just to name a few. The Alpine, New Jersey zip code always ranks among Forbes richest zip codes in the United States. Take a look at the estate below: Ciao' Mechelle

FYI: squash court - its an indoor court where the game squash is played...you know I could not leave some of you all hanging ! ;)

Diddy, spent a day shopping with twin daughters D’Lila Star and Jessie James and son Christian. The family was spotted at the Westfield Mall in Century City, Calif. on Saturday. May 14, 2011 kimporterdaily

Sean "Diddy" Combs may soon be watching the New Jersey Turnpike in his rear view mirror for good. The Harlem-born hip-hop mogul with a propensity for name-changing is listing his Alpine, N.J., Colonial-style home for sale at $13.5 million, says the N.Y. Post. It seems that Combs and baby mama Kim Porter prefer the West Coast. They bought a $5 million house in Los Angeles last year.

sean combsThe 17,000-square-foot, 26-room house that he hopes to sell sits on the border of Alpine and Closter -- both upscale communities. The property includes more than three acres and has a swimming pool, a putting green and a detached guesthouse.

Combs bought the house in 2004 for $6 million. A price double? Really P? Oh wait, that isn't his name anymore. (Is this the week we call him "Swag"? See video below.)

I'm thinking that since he has won three Grammys and was named the richest guy in hip-hop by Forbes -- a net worth of $475 million -- we'll call him whatever he likes.
